Privacy Policy

Overview

DazPlay (the App) is a video note-taking tool for iPhone and iPad. We built it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

Data we collect

None. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Your videos, notes, and folders live locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

Video content

The App lets you save YouTube links and take notes on them. We do not host, download, or redistribute video content. Playback uses standard streaming protocols.

Third-party services

The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.

iCloud sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your notes and bookmarks may sync across your Apple devices through Apple's iCloud service. That sync is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Data storage

All data is stored locally. You can delete individual videos at any time, or remove the App entirely to delete everything.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. It contains no advertising or in-app purchases targeted at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
