How do I add a video?
Open DazPlay, tap the + button, and paste a YouTube link, mobile link, or just the 11-character video ID. The title is fetched automatically.
How do timestamped notes work?
Use the slider above the player to scrub to a moment, type your note, and tap +. Tapping a saved timestamp later will jump the video back to that point.
Are my notes synced across devices?
Notes stay on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, SwiftData may sync them across your iPhone and iPad through your iCloud account.
Do you collect any data?
No. DazPlay has no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs. Read the full privacy policy.
Why won't a video play?
Some videos are restricted by their owner (age-gated, region-locked, embed-disabled). When that happens, tap "Open in YouTube" from the video menu.
How do I delete a video or note?
Swipe left on a video in the Library to delete it. In the detail view, swipe left on any note row to delete it. Both actions also remove the data from the App.
